How to light your home : an essential guide

Effective use of lighting is a powerful tool that can set the mood of a home. There are four main types of lighting that are used in a home: General Ambient, Task, Accent and Decorative Lighting.

4. Decorative Lighting - Refers to visual appeal. Decorative light can be used to add to the visual appeal of a room and much less focused on illuminated the room, but rather making the room beautiful.
